Enjoy a diverse tour through the old harbor of Amsterdam and treat yourself to a chocolate tasting along the way! A unique program: a blend of a private old town tour and a small chocolate tasting session.

This tour is a perfect mix of history, architecture, current changes in the area, stories about the city that became the richest town in the world due to the trade in spices, and still has the largest cacao harbor in the world.

In the first segment of the program, you will be led through the historic Old City Center, where you will gain insights into this area that even locals might not know. This tour offers an enriching mix of historical narratives, exploration of local hotspots, insights into area developments, photo opportunities, and captivating stories about Amsterdam's transformation into the wealthiest city globally, driven by spice ‘trade’, while still retaining the title of hosting the largest cacao harbor worldwide.

 

After the city tour, we'll guide you to our renowned chocolate specialty shop, nestled along Amsterdam's oldest canal. Here you will be indulged in the world of Single Origin and Award Winning chocolate. 

 

Taste a variety of chocolates, while listening to stories about Amsterdam & cacao, the story of chocolate and learn the art of chocolate tasting.

 

You will taste an array of cacao origins, including dark, milk, white chocolate as well as a homemade bonbon. Vegan or dairy-free is no problem.
